Programs
Adult Basic Education
Helps adults strengthen foundational reading, writing, and math skills. This program builds confidence and opens doors to employment, continued education, and greater independence. Many students choose to go on to complete the High School Equivalency (HiSET) program. Donate Now
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Helps students improve English communication skills needed for work, school, and everyday life. ESL classes build confidence, connection, and opportunity for learners from diverse backgrounds. HiSET® (High School Equivalency Test Preparation)
Supports instruction and resources that help adult learners prepare for the HiSET exam, empowering them to earn a high school equivalency credential and pursue better job and education opportunities. Builds esteem and the future of students and their communities. Donate Now
Operating Budget
Supports the essential day-to-day operations of Community Literacy Centers, including office rent, utilities, supplies, and staff salaries. These funds keep our doors open and ensure programs run smoothly for the students who rely on us, assuring the future and ongoing impact of CLC. Donate Now
Reading Partners
Expands support of the Crowley Family Fund to facilitate paid volunteers to strengthen learning efforts. U.S. Citizenship Classes
Supports classes that guide students through the citizenship process, including civics education and test preparation—helping individuals achieve the dream of becoming U.S. citizens. Upon completion, CLC provides a Citizenship Ceremony celebrating this accomplishment and life milestone. Donate Now

Funds CLC’s website, social media, and public outreach efforts—helping us reach new students, engage supporters, and share the impact of literacy across our community.
