Raised in Tulsa, OK, Kirsten moved to Oklahoma City in 1990 to take a job with Candid Color Systems after graduating from Oklahoma State University. That was followed by 13 years in residential real estate sales. In 2010, she returned to a more structured work environment, taking a job with Francis Tuttle Technology Center. Kirsten works in the Corporate Training department and manages the Francis Tuttle Business Innovation Center in Edmond. She enjoys her job and is proud to be affiliated with an organization that encourages training and life-long learning.
Her volunteer background includes serving as the President of the Board of Directors on for the Mother’s Day Out program at her church and the Parent-Teacher Association at her children’s school. During her years with the Junior League of Oklahoma City, Kirsten’s placements included Mistletoe Market Chairman and Training and Leadership Development Coordinator. Recently she has volunteered for various civic and fundraising events and is excited to be a member of Community Literacy Center’s Board of Directors.
An avid reader, Kirsten spends as much time as she can (but not as much as she’d like) on the beach with a good book. When not reading, she enjoys yoga, wine, and scuba diving. Kirsten has two high-school-age children, a son and a daughter, of whom she is very proud.
