What is Community Literacy Center?

Established in 1987, Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching adults how to read. Since our inception, we have helped over 24,000.

Our Board of Directors consists of individuals, professionals and business representatives who are committed to making a difference for fellow Oklahomans who want to help themselves.

We operate with private contributions and we do it very efficiently. How? We apply sound educational principles with a business perspective to create the most innovative, cost-efficient means to teach thousands to read inexpensively.
